Great Joshua MacIver is a notable figure, having founded and led MacIver Group Limited, formerly known as Iniebi Global Resources Ltd. The company specializes in sand dredging, land reclamation, Oil and Gas Companies service provider in areas of Marine Transportation and accommodation, Crude Oil Spill cleanups and remediation and general construction, contributing significantly to infrastructural development in the region. Additionally, he serves as the State Coordinator of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (Bayelsa Operations), a private security firm dedicated to combating illegal bunkering activities and pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta region.

Great Joshua MacIver was born on April 15, 1979, in Olugbobiri Community, Bayelsa State, Nigeria, to the families of Golibo MacIver and Mommy Arere Igoli. Growing up in an oil-producing community, he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by his people. MacIver attended St. Gabriel’s Primary School, Olugbobiri, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate in 1991. He then proceeded to Community Secondary School, Olugbobiri, and obtained his WASSC in 2007. He later pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Communication (upper 2nd class) from the University of Port Harcourt in 2015.

Currently, Great Joshua MacIver is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Communication from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rivers State, furthering his academic pursuits while balancing his professional and political commitments.
